Biography of Larry Shackley
Larry and his wife Nadine have been married since July of 1955. He is the faithful father of five and a loving grandfather to his seven grandchildren. Larry serves as the Outreach Pastor and Director of Facility Helps. He is responsible for the daily
maintenance and care of the church. His mechanical abilities along with his willing spirit have made him a true asset to this ministry.
Through the outreach of the church, Larry came to know Christ as his Savior at age 37. So
grateful for the new life he had received, he immediately began serving in the church doing whatever needed to be done. Shortly after his salvation he enrolled in the "Berean School of Ministry" and earned his license. "Learning by doing" would best describe Pastor Larry since most of his ministry experience has been hands-on, making his credentials for service
definitely impressive. He started as Faith's "fix-it man", then graduated to Sunday School teacher and ultimately found his true calling when God placed the Bus Ministry on his heart.
He is the inspiration behind "Super Kids Church" - a ministry that has touched more young lives than one person could possibly keep track of. He is an avid soul winner, and because of the love of Christ shining through him, he has been the reason behind many a persons' decision to make Christ their Savior. As you talk to Larry you will come to understand why he has influenced so many for the gospel. His enthusiasm is
